Bantry, 8 miles, has 18-hole golf course, a cinema, a leisure centre, and Bantry House and Gardens which hosts music festivals and events. The Mizen Peninsula, Sheep’s Head Peninsula, Gougane Barra Forest Park, Kenmare and Killarney make fantastic day trips. Throughout West Cork you will find coastal villages that offer a variety of water sports and some have boat trips to offshore islands.
