Property Description
Renovated with tranquillity in mind, Moon House is a Grade II listed, former Congregational church and Sunday school built in 1842 for the people of Rothbury, and is a peaceful and relaxing space for guests to enjoy. This detached property radiates natural light which illuminates the rooms, and was a contemporary art gallery before becoming a holiday home. Featuring high ceilings and an open-plan living space, it also has a kitchen with a French-style range and an additional seating area which opens out onto the garden. Ideal for couples and friends, Moon House offers two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor. A large glass balcony area runs along the first floor level. This provides a unique space, which also has a kingsize bed set back from the balcony, as well as a contemporary en-suite bathroom and dressing area. The sun catches the windows at all sides throughout the day, and there are two gardens to maximise the sun should you wish to sit and relax after a day exploring. With parking at the door, it is ideal for leaving the car behind and meandering a few yards to one of the pretty tea rooms or friendly pubs, the majority of which serve delicious food.
