The Farmhouse is a traditional four bedroom house with its own private garden looking out towards the picturesque Yorkshire countryside. Set between the stunning Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors, The Farmhouse is a fantastic property for a large group looking to have the freedom of the countryside, along with a homely place to relax.
The house is well equipped and spacious, with a large conservatory; the perfect place to dine after a day of exploring the nearby National Parks.
If you need a break from exploring the Moors and Dales, head to the nearby village of Exelby. The Green Dragon pub, which is community owned and just a 10-minute walk (no footpath but hi vis vests and a torch is provided), is perfect for a drink for weary walkers. The nearby market town of Bedale is a good option if you’re looking to restock the cupboards. The Tour de Yorkshire comes right past the cottage in May, and Bedale is the finishing point. In 2020, the Tour de Yorkshire is hosted in the nearby town of Leyburn.
The Farmhouse can be booked together with Granary Cottage (ref BCHGCGC) and Orchard Cottage (ref BCHGCOC) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
