The Villa

Casa Feliz is a 6-bedroom villa with 3 bathrooms located in popular Frigiliana that can accommodate up to 12 guests. The accommodation is set over one level and comprises of a villa and a seperate annexe . The main house has lovely high ceilings, and there are sea views from both houses and the garden.

Casa Feliz is located in Frigiliana, Andalucía, Spain. It is 40 minutes from Malaga airport, 5 minutes from the famous Andalusian village Frigiliana, and 5 minutes from Nerja, a small town with long beautiful beaches. Both Granada and Marbella are only one hour away too.

Andalucía is the region of Southern Spain that offer visitors extremely varied nature, from golden beaches to mountain ranges with their highly interesting fauna, and the famous “white villages” and their rich culture.

Andalucía is a region of great traditions and the “mother” of the Spanish folklore. There is an abundance of leisure, cultural, historic and culinary experiences available within walking distance. Up to approximately 1 hour drive from the property guests can visit Granada’s Alhambra/Generalife and Albayzin, the caves of Nerja, Malaga’s Picasso Museum and Alcazabe, Marbella’s old quarter, Puerto Banus’ jetset port and shopping, picturesque Andalusian mountain villages like Frigiliana and Competa and the most beautiful beaches in the South of Spain.

The beaches of Nerja are located only 7 minutes away from the house and the mountain village of Frigiliana is only 5 minutes away.

Casa Feliz is ideal for kids who enjoy exploring, playing in nature, and enjoying different activities in the garden. The pool is suitable for kids, but children and babies/toddlers must be supervised at all times, and the property itself is fenced.

If you are looking to explore the more nuanced depths of this region, Cueva de Nerja is a perfect place to rekindle your sense of adventure as a family. These wondrous caves are located just a 15-minute drive from Frigiliana, and the astonishing landmark hosts a wide assortment of archaic structures that are all preserved behind vast glass cases. The tours are self-guided using a recorded tape that guests use during their time here. Once you emerge to the surface, guests can visit the Nerja Museum to continue their learning. This museum is free to enter, but tickets cost around €14 each to enter the caves

For more land-based activities, you’re located in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara National Park, a rugged mountainous region that straddles the border between Granada and Malaga and is a superb hiking area and an ideal spot for climbers. There is a total of 13 signposted paths in the park, one of which starts on the doorstep in Frigiliana and winds its way to the Nerja caves at the Fuente del Esparto. Ideal for an active family day out!

The nearby city of Malaga is also full of fun things to keep kids entertained! Kids will love this exciting city that has plenty to eat, see, and do. Not only are there lovely beaches, but Malaga is full of history and culture and has the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle and various museums to wonder at and learn more about. There is also plenty of wonderful restaurants to grab a bite in and cool places for shopping located in the city. If you’re looking to cool off under the Spanish sun, take a trip to the Aquamijas waterpark and let the kids roam free, and then check out the gorgeous villages of Mijas while you’re there!

  • Yoga classes are available and taught by Karlien, a skilled yoga teacher. This service is for minimum two people and lasts an hour. Prices start at €40 for 2 people and €60 for 4 people.
  • Enjoy a wine tasting and tapas menu at Casa Feliz, organised by a local wine bar! Prices are on request and only for a minimum of 8 people.
  • A chef service is available at Casa Feliz, serving a paella lunch or dinner (at 2pm or 8:30pm) and includes dessert and coffee. This service is priced at €45 per person and does not include drinks. There is also a children’s menu (under 12 years), serving Spaghetti Bolognese, and priced at €25 per person.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €2,500 charged to client’s credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm.
Departure time 10 am .
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Linen and shower towels are included in the rental price (please bring your own pool towels)
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Not included in the rental price. Available on request and at a charge of €200 per week to be paid to Sun Villa Escapes with final payment.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Saturday during peak season. Flexible during other periods.
Pets welcome? Not permitted.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Stag & Hen Do’s Allowed? Small special events are allowed at Casa Feliz upon request only and subject to prior arrangement with the owner and additional charges.

Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.

All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.
Other Ts and Cs Noise should be kept to a minimum out of respect of the neighbours. Any music played outside by the pool or on the terrace must be turned off in the evening. No music is allowed outside after 11 pm.
Other 2 Under NO circumstances may external people be able to access to property for any event or social gathering. The opposite will result in a fine to be paid in cash to the owner onsite.
Other 3 A maid service is included in the rental price and occurs twice a week.
