A fine example of a traditional lakeland barn, Marigold enjoys a central village location, only a short walk from the local pub and with many walks from the door. The visitors centre at Grizedale is a mile and a half away with a wide variety of woodland paths to amble along, numerous cycle lanes to enjoy and ’Go Ape’ for the more energetic among you.
Marigold Barn has been lovingly refurbished and now provides excellent accommodation on two floors, the living rooms on the first floor to take best advantage of the views. Quality materials and fittings have been used throughout to create a stylish yet comfortable feel, with carefully chosen accessories and excellent choice of soft furnishings cleverly used to compliment the exposed stonework and wonderful display of open beams.  The woodburning stove, set into a corner, ensures the barn is cosy throughout the seasons whilst the balcony, which gives way to views across the valley, attempts to draw your attention away from this lovely holiday home and to the fells beyond.
