Why choose Spain
With sun-filled days and the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean, an abundance of leisure activities and world-class golf courses await, set amid beautiful landscapes that provide a stunning backdrop to lively resorts and quaint fishing villages alike. On top of it being a beautiful country to explore, it’s also only a short flight away from your nearest airport, making it the perfect choice for a family holiday or romantic break away.
Spain has everything you could want from a dream holiday – gorgeous Blue Flag beaches, delectable cuisine and cities rich in culture. Head to the traditional Spanish markets where you can pick up delicious fresh food and local delicacies to bring back to your self-catering villa.
When to travel to Spain
Spain has a Mediterranean climate with fantastic, hot summers. It gets particularly warm in July and August, so if you love the sunshine this is the best time to go. Temperatures can reach between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius in August, so make sure you pack your sun cream.
If you want to visit when it’s a bit quieter and cooler, head to Spain in September or October, or between April and May, for a spring break away.
