Have fun with the Amazon Alexa Dot or watch the Smart television on cooler evenings if you’re not visiting the local pub. Fishing at Sweethope Loughs is popular with fly fishermen and is only a short drive away.

The friendly small town of Bellingham is just 4½ miles away, with a few shops and pubs. A real bonus of staying at The Stables is the location as you are within an hour of being somewhere totally different, from Northumberland’s diverse Heritage Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the hills, there is something for everyone. Corbridge is only 16 miles where you can stop off whilst visiting one of the Roman Forts along Hadrian’s Wall. The border town of Jedburgh is only 30 miles and Alnwick Castle is also only 30 miles so you really are in the centre of everything at The Stables. Beach 35 miles. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 75 yards.
