Swallow Cottage is nestled in the beautiful Esk Valley with stunning views over Westerdale and open countryside. A scenic drive along the country roads takes you to some pretty villages dotted around the North Yorkshire Moors, and also to the historic port of Whitby, with its quaint cobbled streets, magnificent Abbey and not to mention its famous Fish and Chips. The Victorian seaside town of Saltburn is only a short drive away, with its golden sandy beach and lovely promenade, ideal for a stroll on a warm summer evening. The North Yorkshire Moors steam train is a great day for everyone, travelling from Whitby to the market town of Pickering stopping at Grosmont and Goathland (also known as Heartbeat Country) along the way.
