Property Description

Come and enjoy all that Sweet Pea Cottage has to offer with unobstructed picture postcard views out over the village of Pwll, Carmarthen Bay and the Gower Peninsula. This mid-terrace cottage really does offer the perfect location to explore this wonderful area of Carmarthenshire. Nestled on the edge of the village with a village shop and a local, traditional, Welsh pub and restaurant where you can enjoy home cooking and locally produced ales. The historic town of Llanelli is 5 minutes away where you will find the Millennium Coastal Path which runs through to Kidwelly. Alternatively, enjoy the Millennium Recreational Lake which is perfect for a little adventure with lots of water sports, or enjoy building sandcastles with your family on the beach.

This property has been finished to a very good standard throughout and offers the perfect base to discover West Wales. Enjoy a glass of wine with your evening meal in the spacious dining/sun room and take in the ever changing views over the tidal, Carmarthen Bay. The galley style kitchen has been wonderfully finished with granite tops, wine cooler, beams and Belfast sink which is open plan with the living area – a perfect social space when you are cooking that special meal. On the first floor are two bright and airy bedrooms, both are beautifully presented to an excellent standard and also enjoy the sea views.

Burry Port is also 5 minutes away where you can admire the famous lighthouse which dates back to 1842. It has become part of the landscape and is admired and photographed by so many. On the harbourside you can enjoy some refreshments in the café and take in the boats coming and going. The cottage is within close proximity to the main cycle path, which you can explore in its many directions to Burry Port onto Pembrey, or from Llanelli Beach up to the Gwendraeth Valley. A little further along this dramatic coastline is Pembrey Country Park with 8 miles of golden sands of Cefn Siden beach, dry ski slope and acres of woodlands to explore. The cottage is located approximately 10 minutes from both Ashburnham and Machynys Golf Club, which is a Jack Nicklaus designed course and offers a spa and restaurant. Don’t miss the coastal resort of Tenby, a 50-minute drive away which offers the perfect day out. Folly Farm Zoo and Heatherton World of Adventure are both close by and great for all ages. The property would also be a lovely stop over for the popular wedding venues in the area. This really is the perfect location for exploring both south and west Wales, with attractions for everyone, plus the beautiful Gower Peninsular. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

This quaint mid-terraced cottage over three floors is the perfect location for golfers, cyclists and wedding guests.
