Villa Overview
Villa Kyma is built on the doorstep of the glittering waters of the Ionian Sea – wake up each morning to the sound of the sea below your terrace. Set in a tranquil corner of Kefalonia’s lush southern countryside, this stunning villa is a slice of rural paradise for anyone seeking a quiet island getaway. Nestled on the edge of the valley of Svoronata, you’re surrounded by olive groves and fruit orchards at every turn. Just down the road, you’ll find the village of Svoronata, where you’ll find a sprinkle of restaurants and cafes serving up sumptuous delicacies, delicious coffee, and local pastries. Just fifteen minutes away is the thriving town of Argostoli, with a bustling restaurant and bar scene to tickle your taste buds. For a slice of history, ten minutes by car are the impressive Castle of St. George and St. Andreas Monastery. If you’re after some more stunning beaches, Avithos, Megalipetra, and Ammes are close by, to name just a few.
The exteriors mimic the charming Ionian architecture of the island, with rustic-toned walls paired with terracotta-tiled roofs. Inside tells a different story, with modernism in every corner, from the beige and lilac colour scheme to the sleek furnishings, marble floors, and minimalist décor that creates a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. Villa Kyma was designed to show off the mesmerising seascape, with the plush sofa and chic dining table perfectly positioned by the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, allowing you to take in every inch of the views. Whether you want to curl up around the TV or whip up a feast in the contemporary-style kitchen, the villa was designed with open-plan living in mind. The perfect escape for a small family, you’ll find a spacious double and single bedroom across the single floor space.
The best bit? It has to be the glorious grounds, with their expansive, lush gardens enclosed with a glass fence, so you can soak up every corner of the glistening coastal panoramas. You won’t be short on comfy spots to unwind, but our favourite is the plush outdoor sofas that overlook the sweeping scenery of the Ionian Sea below. The fabulous barbecue gives you the chance to grill fresh fish and local vegetables, which you can all sit back and enjoy together in the alfresco dining area.

Resort Description
Ai Helis is a sleepy coastal area just south of the traditional village of Svoronata in Leviathos and only around 15 minutes drive from the capital town, Argostoli. Ai Helis offers a glorious deep bay of golden sand and shallow crystal clear water gazing out at the tiny islet of Zeus and backed by cliffs. Along the cliff edge are some very exclusive Greek summer homes and holiday villas.
The beach offers a small snack bar in high summer as well as sunbeds and parasols for rent and it is popular for beach volley games in the late afternoon. Just inland are a smattering of tavernas, restaurants and a couple of mini markets to choose from all within a few minutes easy stroll along country lanes whilst the larger supermarkets are just a short drive away. Apart from Argostoli itself there are also a few places of interest within 10 minutes drive of Ai Helis – including the Castle of St. George and St. Andreas Monastery which are both well worth a visit. For a change of scenery, the stunning beaches of Avithos, Megalipetra and Ammes are close by to name just a few.
