Banovallum Cottage is fantastic for holidaymakers wanting to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds, with a hot tub for relaxing in the evenings. The area is very popular with walkers and cyclists alike, due to its great tracks and trails that pass right by the front door; the Viking Way cuts through the centre of the town. Horncastle’s history dates to well before the Roman occupation, today there are still many places locally where remains of the Roman fort wall can still be viewed.
