Logwood House is set in a tranquil and rural setting just a few miles from the market town of Kendal, filled with lots of wonderful shops and eateries. The cottage has a beautiful, private garden, and the River Mint flows adjacent with fishing rights available to guests.

There are plenty of lovely walks from the back door, but you are also within easy reach of the Lake District National Park. Within just a 20-minute drive you will find yourself in Windermere or Ambleside, with all the walks, cycle routes and lake cruises that are available and within half an hour’s drive you can be in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, perfect for families who enjoy the great outdoors.

Logwood House has 3 comfortable bedrooms, comprising two double and a twin, and an art deco bathroom all on the first floor. Downstairs are the living room, a dining room and the kitchen, also with a dining table, and is well-equipped with enough workspace for meal preparation. The owner lives on-site and is on hand should you need advice or assistance during your stay. Beach 13½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
