Medieval Totnes is just minutes away by car, whilst a few miles further lies Dartmouth with its famous steam railway (summer only), cruises and boat hire on the River Dart. The seaside resort of Torquay is a 20-minute drive, offering fine sandy beaches, coves, cliff walks, an interesting harbour, marina, excellent leisure facilities and children’s amusements.
