For anglers, Whitemoor Fishing Lakes are just under 2 miles away with coarse fishing for trout, carp, bream and roach (open all year, fees apply and licence required). There is so much to do in this popular area and many excellent beaches can be found along the Jurassic Coast, which is a World Heritage Site, including the world-famous Sandbanks, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Bournemouth. For fun family days out, Monkey World is within easy driving distance or you could visit Honey Brook Farm right on the doorstep. Moors Valley, set in 1000 acres of parkland and forest offers fantastic dog walking and children’s outdoor play spaces. There is also Go Ape, tree top walks and high wire adventures and Avon Heath, ideal for keen ramblers. You could take a trip to Beaulieu Motor Museum, Highcliffe Castle, Brownsea Island or the New Forest Wildlife Park. If you enjoy dining out the historic market town of Wimborne offers a plethora of options as does nearby Cranborne.
