Located between Tenerife’s capital, La Laguna, at the north of the island and also the lively and bustling south, Villa Punta Larga provides the perfect middle ground.

From the outside, this minimalistic villa looks clean and understated; as soon as guests step inside, the glorious marina views become visible through the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows. Spread out on three floors, this villa benefits from open-plan living, adding to the spacious and sociable feel.

There is a well-equipped kitchen that features plenty of prep space and state-of-the-art appliances, as well as a lovely breakfast bar that overlooks the Marina below. There is also a spacious and comfortable open-plan lounge with a large L-shaped sofa and a 75” smart TV, as well as a modern six-seater dining table within the open plan kitchen/living/dining area.

All four bedrooms have been finished stylishly and slightly different from one another; they all have comfortable double beds, air conditioning and stunning views of the marina. The two modern bathrooms have also been finished to a very high standard, along with the rest of the villa. ‘Minimalist chic’ are two words that come to mind when it comes to describing Villa Gitesh.

Outside, on the ground floor, guests will find a splendid outdoor living space. With a comfortable sofa area and a mobile TV set, a PlayStation 4 console, and Bluetooth speakers, guests will have great fun relaxing and socialising in this unique outdoor living area.

In addition, the house also has a large outdoor dining table that seats up to 10 people to enjoy a group of meals in this outdoor area. On the lower ground floor, there is a fantastic games room with a pool table, poker table, dartboard, Bluetooth speakers, large flat screen TV, and a minibar; this is the perfect place for guests to get together and have fun.

The stunning pool area is arguably the most impressive feature of this fantastic villa; with lush green lawns, views overlooking the Marina below and a beautiful whitewashed terrace area, guests will be in absolute heaven.

Located on the south side of the island of Tenerife, in the heart of Candelaria, this villa’s fantastic location offers convenience and proximity to all the local amenities. Candelaria is a lovely, seaside town with a rich and interesting history that draws visitors of all kinds to it every year. The old village has been home to the patron saint of all the Canary Islands, Virgen de Candelaria, since the 1300s.

Its spiritual importance has led to Candelaria becoming a place of annual pilgrimage for thousands of religious travellers. A long, black sand and pebble beach fronts the town, where large rocks hold back the powerful Atlantic waves creating lagoon areas; perfect for a relaxing swim. The beach is lined with a wide promenade, which links the larger town of Candelaria with the smaller, tourist town of Las Caletillas.

The villa is just 20 minutes away from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and 30 minutes away from the island’s capital, La Laguna and north of the island. Within a 10 minute walk, guests can be in the old town of Candelaria, where there is the Basilica of the patron saint of the Canary Islands, the Virgin of Candelaria, which can be seen in the distance from the top floor of the villa. In the opposite direction, there are multiple bars, cafes and restaurants that guests will love.

Just outside Villa Gitesh is everything guests will need: a supermarket, pharmacy, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. A short walk away there is the Punta Larga Mall, a large shopping centre with shops, cafes and even a cinema.

THE REGION

Tenerife is the island of a thousand experiences. There are a thousand things you can do at any time of year, thanks to the mild climate and the enormous range of activities on offer in the largest of the Canary Islands.

The lively beaches with fine, golden sand and calm waters are located in Tenerife’s main tourist hubs in the south of the island. But there are also quieter beaches, further away from the towns, dotted along the coast. There are some with dark, volcanic sand shaped into marvellous natural pools and ponds that are protected from the waves.

Villa Punta Larga makes a wonderful family villa; there is a cot with free bed linen, high chair and baby bath, upon request. There are also lots of activities to keep kids busy if they get tired of splashing around in the pool and messing about in the games room.

Candelaria is full of interesting museums, ice cream stalls and souvenir shops where guests can pick up a trinket to remind you of your trip. Boating excursions and watersports are also offered for those that are in the mood for more lively activities, and the village’s main beach is also a fabulous place to bring children.

Sporting Tenerife’s signature black volcanic sand, this beach is an ideal place to chill out in the sunshine or splash about in the sea and do some snorkelling.

End of stay cleaning included? Not included in the rental price, €300 to be paid on arrival directly to the property manager.
