One of the five bedrooms is conveniently located on the ground floor along with a separate bath and shower room, while the other four bedrooms are on the first floor. Two of the rooms open out onto a wonderful outdoor terrace with lovely views over the pool and gardens below and rattan seating so you can enjoy a peaceful coffee or share a nightcap.
All the rooms have large, very comfortable beds and are individually styled with stripped or painted wood furnishings, a variety of pretty patterned textiles and eye-catching themed artwork. The master bedroom has a striking en suite with contemporary twin basins and a large walk-in shower, while a separate luxury bathroom with a free-standing bathtub is shared by the other first floor bedrooms.
Back downstairs, a covered terrace runs the whole length of the house, providing welcome shade in the heat of the day, plenty of comfy seating and a delightful outdoor dining area, complete with a trendy filament bulb light fitting to create a cosy after-dark glow. An adjacent outdoor kitchen houses a large fridge-freezer, sink and storage cupboard so keeping your drinks chilled and the barbecue ingredients to hand couldn’t be easier.
The gardens have been landscaped with great flair and expertise, with flourishing palm trees and pines providing privacy as well as an attractive outlook. With a surprising variety of seating areas to choose from, there’s plenty of space for everyone to chill out, from built-in benches piled with cushions to an indulgent circular day bed, sleepy hammock to poolside loungers. The 10m by 5m pool is sheer bliss.
With a table tennis table also provided, you might feel it completely unnecessary to venture beyond the villa gate. However there are bars, restaurants and grocery stores close by. There are also some lovely beaches along this stretch of coast, just a short drive away, and its well worth the effort to get out and explore.
