Nestled in the private estate of Faria Verde, in the stunning Algarve region, Villa Roxa is the ideal choice for a family, or group of friends, looking to relax and unwind. Benefiting from the quiet surroundings of Carvoeiro, the villa is a perfect getaway, while being a short walk to the local beach.

Accommodating up to sixteen guests across eight bedrooms split between the main house and the apartment, Villa Roxa boasts a wide range of facilities available to use during your stay, and there’s plenty to keep all ages entertained and comfortable. On arrival at the villa the first thing you will see is the lovely driveway, providing privacy and leading you up to the striking villa entrance. The main house is laid-out over three floors, at the top are three tower rooms creating maximum privacy, each with its own balcony and accessible via their own private staircase. The rooms are very tastefully appointed and decorated in different colours, and in Moorish and Moroccan styles.

You’ll find all you need to entertain and relax yourselves at Villa Roxa; with a private tennis court, swimming pool, large fire place and comfortable seating area on the ground floor that looks out onto the garden and swimming pool – This spectacular room has two folding walls, which connect the dining room to the large terrace and outdoor fire place! The dining room seats up to fourteen people and can be extended, via folding walls, to include the outdoor fire place and barbecue.

On the lower ground floor, sits a cinema room and library equipped with a pool table and comfortable furniture, all of which is wonderfully air conditioned to keep you cool during the summer months.

Villa Roxa also offers a lovely apartment, ideal for larger families or groups of friends. The apartment boasts a twin bedroom with its own bathroom as well as a kitchen area, making it perfect for those seeking a bit of independence.

The delightful large garden has a large open lawn and is filled with palm trees, olive trees, lemon trees and other tropical plant life adding to that feeling of pure paradise. So whether you’re a large group on a friendly jaunt or a family looking for some relaxation and escape, Villa Roxa has everything you could need!

(Villa Roxa is located in a private estate, together with our other properties Casa Pinto, which sleeps six and Casa Conceicao, which sleeps ten. These holiday homes can be rented in combination with one another, for larger groups.)

Villa Roxa is decorated in Moorish and Moroccan style, creating a light and breezy setting for guests. Its 8 bedrooms and bathrooms are split between the main house and the apartment. The exterior grounds are very large and even have a private tennis court.

Carvoeiro is a town, within Lagoa of the Algarve. Nowadays, it is mostly visited for its stunning coastline that has several beaches. Praia Marinha is the most distinguished of these beaches and has been mentioned in Michelin Guide and holds several accolades to its name; for its jaw dropping features. Originally a fishing village and then a fort during the 17th Century, the compact town’s history is still intact and visible throughout its streets. The best example is the original lighthouse, which still stands tall and proud and can be seen for miles.

This is a fantastic destination for families who want a bit of everything from their holiday experience. Tourists visit Carvoeiro for its golf courses, tennis clubs, water sports, historical background, beaches, hiking trails and restaurant & bars. For those looking for the odd night out, Portimao is the closest town that has a busy nightlife.

Carvoeiro is riddled with lots to do for children, so you can relax knowing that this destination will leave the family extremely satisfied after your break.

Assemble a picnic, by visiting one of the local shops and explore the serene Fontes de Estômbar. This public park is incredibly popular during the summer months and has natural spring swimming pools, hiking trails and a lake.

If the kids love animals, Krazy World could be for your family. The children will do lots of learning and be integrated into Portuguese rural life by meeting lots of farm type animals that helped sculpture this once farmed land. With a Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Quad Bike Rentals and a Crocodile Park –  you’ll find the kids dragging you back for repeat visits.

Zoomarine is located in Guia, not too far from Carvoeiro. This is the ideal place to let the kids splash around all day, whilst the parents put their feet up and have a well deserved break.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €750 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded upon departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm
Departure time 10 am
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen and towels included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Not included in the rental price, extra cost of €345 per week, to be paid locally.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights
Changeover day Saturday.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
