Inside the villa, traditional furnishings are complemented by exotic silks, velvets and linen, the gleaming marble floors and vibrant Spanish tiles creating a luxurious feel throughout the four floors. A sumptuous lounge with a vaulted ceiling, cosy fireplace with a wood burning stove and plush seating is located on the first floor, opening out onto the upper patio overlooking the pool. At the foot of a striking sweeping staircase is a round dining table seating eight people while a separate dining room, magnificently decorated in ivory and gold, is a perfect venue for a special occasion dinner.

Also on this floor are three of the four spacious double or twin bedrooms, three of which have private en suite bath or shower rooms. Each room is distinctively styled with bold paints and quality linens and drapes. A separate TV lounge and the fourth bedroom are to be found upstairs in the turret round, with patio doors leading out onto a private terrace.

There are two well-equipped kitchens in the villa offering flexibility and independence for families holidaying together. One is a traditional farmhouse-style kitchen and the other a modern open plan room with dining suite and sofa. With several outside dining terraces to choose from and a barbecue for some alfresco cooking, this is very much a villa for outdoor lovers.

The gardens have been beautifully landscaped and planted with pine trees, sculptural palms and vibrant, flourishing shrubs. Whether you stretch out in the sun on the plentiful sun loungers around the pool or take to the shade with a good book, this is a wonderful spot for relaxing after a hard fought tennis match or a challenging round of golf.

With a fantastic spa, a resort village with a wide range of Spanish and international restaurants and the beach only a short drive from the resort, you’ll find plenty to entertain and delight your whole group throughout your stay. For families with older children or for couples and friends holidaying together, El Castillo is undoubtedly an excellent choice of accommodation at La Manga.
