Sumptuous wooden decking surround the pool and a large pergola offers shade from the glare of the mid-day sun, all set against a backdrop of olive and citrus trees. A barbecue to one side of the pool offers plenty of occasions for al fresco dining. An evening in nearby Lefkas town is a must, the pretty cobbled streets leading back from the port, and tiny piazzas are full of tempting shops and patisseries, just right for a coffee, a “baklava” pastry and a spot of people-watching.
