This elegant C15th Manoir, partially moated and set in the centre of 52 acres of beautiful park and fields, has been lavishly decorated with exquisite antiques, custom sofas and chairs, Persian carpets, Chinese porcelains and oil paintings. A 15th century gigantic working fireplace warms the evenings and the private exclusive large swimming pool cools you during the day.
Flowers grace every room and if you feel like stepping up to the plate (or the stove) yourself, the kitchen is kitted out with every modern convenience and stocked with all herbs, spices, vinegars and oils.
Take a ride out into the countryside on the bikes provided or fire up the BBQ in the garden – either way, you’ll be in a calm, relaxing and carefree atmosphere for children and adults alike. The nearby city of Saumur provides nightlife and and a great range of dining options, and Tours and Angers are only 50 minutes by car for a bigger city experience. The train station in Saumur is only 12 minutes from the house, which itself is a mere two hours from Paris.

The Manoir has a large entrance hall with floor to ceiling decoration and Chinese porcelains. This leads to the large dining room and living room with four sets of French doors opening onto a beautiful terrace, just a few meters from the secluded swimming pool.
The kitchen has been set up by professional chefs – all appliances are provided as well as a large array of fresh herbs and spices, a variety of vinegars and choice of fresh oils. The bedrooms are plush and the American queen size beds are new and incredibly comfy. One bedroom, the Plum velvet room, contains a 4-poster bed and small en-suite with tiled shower, toilet and sink.
The other two bedrooms share the largest of the bathrooms, with comes with a beautiful, large claw-footed tub and shower. The swimming pool is 5×10 metres, and is lined in a solar warming lining which is a slate blue gray.
Wood is provided for the fireplace, (though there’s also central heating) and linens and towels for the bathrooms and pool are provided, along with soaps and shampoos of a high quality. There is also a washing machine and dryer for guests to use.
The 5 acre walled home is set in the centre of 52 acres and is partially moated with fish. Wildlife, birds and butterflies are abundant due to the glorious flower gardens.

The village is a quick eight minute walk from the house, where you’ll find a grocery store, a bakery, newsagents, a service garage along with two restaurants and bars. Tennis is only fifteen minutes away, with bike paths, walking trails, and a golf course all within half an hour. Canoeing and river cruises are available as well as the opportunity to explore some splendid Châteaux and churches.
