Finding the idyllic home away from home on holiday is a breeze with Casa Rai, a charming villa located in one of the exclusive areas on Menorca. Casa Rai and Casa Lorenzo are identical sister properties so perfect for 2 families wishing to holiday together but in separate villas.
The colourful villa offers everything you need to relax and recharge. You’re welcomed into the Villa by a large living area that opens out on the balcony. It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring or swimming. The whole group can gather in the living room for movie night, don’t forget the popcorn.
Movie snacks and delicious meals can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen that is just off the living room. These can be enjoyed al fresco on the balcony that is just a few steps away, or on the indoor dining room in the comfort of air conditioning.
There are four air conditioned bedrooms in this Villa, so you are certain to get a restful slumber. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and direct access to the terrace with sea views. The other bedrooms are twins, one of which has an en-suite and the other two share a bathroom.
The outdoor area takes full advantage of the beautiful location, with a private pool overlooking the ocean and multiple sun chairs just waiting for guests.

Renowned for glistening waters, mile-long sandy beaches and turquoise-watered bays, Menorca is the perfect holiday destination if you’re looking for sun, sand and solitude. More laid back than it’s neighbouring islands, Ibiza and Majorca, its a beautiful getaway in Spain’s Balearic Islands.
Located in the Mediterranean Sea, Menorca has a beautiful climate all year round, with mild winters and hot summers. So whenever you need an island getaway to warm your soul, this spot is calling. Menorca has more beaches than its neighbours, Ibiza and Majorca, combined and some of the most popular spots to enjoy some sun and sand include Cala Mitjana, Macarelleta and Cala en Turqueta.
The island offers more than beautiful beaches, as it also has a very rich history. The island is known for its collection of megalithic stone monuments that indicate very early prehistoric human activity. So history buffs can explore the island looking out for some interesting sites. Unique sites include Naveta d’es Tudons and Cathedral Ciudadela. If you fancy a little more culture, Cami de Cavalls is an open-air museum that’s well worth a visit. Torre d’en Galmes is also a great excursion, this ancient ruin site is a captivating experience.
If you’re feeling a little active, hike up El Toro, a hill in Spain that is the highest peak of of the Santa Rosa Mountain Range offering panoramic views of the beaches and stunning landscape.
Of course, when you visit a new country you really have to get a taste for the culture by trying local specialties, including Queso de Mahon, a local white cheese; fish meatballs and Arroz de la Tierra, which translates as rice of the land, although it doesn’t actually include any rice it’s wheat, ground down and baked with sausages.
The Villa itself is located by Son Bou beach, one of the most exclusive areas of Torre Soli. It is the longest beach in Menorca and boasts one of the few open seas. The beach is 2.5 km long and is located between Cap de ses Penyes, and Punta Rodona. It’s a big beach area, with plenty of water sports and other water experiences near by. There’s plenty of places to eat and drink, whether your looking for a family-friendly night out or something a little bigger – there’s something for everyone, though do bear in mind this is a laid back island unlike other spots nearby

If you’re looking for a getaway where the kids can play while adults relax on a sun-soaked beach, look no further than Menorca. Less party-focused than it’s neighbouring islands Majorca and Ibiza, Menorca offers all of the sun, sand and relaxation with less rowdy tourists. In other words, it’s the perfect island for families.
The best way to keep the family entertained is without a doubt the beach, while children swim to their hearts content in shallow waters and build sandcastles on the sandy beaches, adults can relax with a good book while getting some sun – bliss for everyone involved. The best beaches for families include Cala Galdana, Banyul and Bellavista – visitors should note the latter two beaches require a ten minute walk to get to them which isn’t easy with pushchairs. A lot of these beaches offer water sports, kayak rentals, lounge chair rentals and cafes and bars so you can spend from dusk till dawn relaxing by the ocean.
There is more to Menorca than the beach, and there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained. Take a walk on the wild side and get up close and personal with the animals of Menorca at Lloc de Menorca Zoo, or head out on a Jeep safari, or be at one with nature with horse riding on the island. Perhaps the you’ve got water babies who are happiest in the water, in which case there’s a mini water park at the Castilla Menorca outlet shopping centre with pools, boating, go-karting and plenty of grassy areas for children to play. Or, go all out at Aquarock Waterpark.
There’s plenty for the whole family to do, so there’s no surprise it’s recognised as a top family holiday spot.
