Albufeira town is just a stone’s throw away, and there’s a pedestrian access to the beach down a cool ravine, flanked by a curtain of bougainvillea, pine trees and cork oaks.

The beach is framed by cliffs in warm colours that have been polished by the sea. These rock formations provide beachgoers with a series of inlets and sheltered nooks.

From the eastern end of the beach, there is a footpath that runs along the cliff tops to the beach at Olhos d’Água, giving walkers the chance to enjoy unique views over the coastline.
